Salary: Up to £30,420 per annum + overtime
I require a CNC Miller Setter/Operator to join my client, a professional sub-con precision machining company working within various sectors, within their busy turning section.
We require a CNC Miller Setter/Operator to assist in my clients busy milling section.
Successful CNC Miller Engineers will have:
o A time served machining apprenticeship
o Good knowledge and experience in setting and operating milling machines.
o Experience in editing would be desirable.
o Experience using Fanuc(G-Code)controls to assist in running our milling section(desirable)
o Advantageous to have experience on OneCNC offline programming
o A good knowledge of cutting data is desirable to machine aluminum and stainless steel for the Aerospace, oil and gas and high technical industries.
You will be entitled too;
o 25 days holiday + bank holidays
o 39 hour working week (7.30am - 4.00pm Mon-Thurs, 7.30am - 3.00pm Fri) Overtime readily available
o £12-£15 Per hour (Neg DOE)
Qualifications: Time served apprentice, Advanced Apprenticeship in Engineering (level 3) or equivalent
Useful experience & knowledge:
o Working within Sub-con machine shop.
o Problem solving and innovation.
o Willingness to help the team to achieve good efficiencies.
o Ability to work unsupervised and part of a team.
o Work proactively.
o Extensive experience in manufacturing.
o Experience in Turning would be advantageous.
o Experience working to ISO9001 standards
