Clerical Officer - Immediate Start
Location: Arbroath
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:45am - 5pm


Pertemps Dundee are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a well know Public Sector organisation, for a Clerical Officer on a full time, temporary basis for their Arbroath office.

The purpose of the role is to provide support within the processing and governance section which processes payments and raises invoices. The ideal candidate will have a strong Clerical or Administration background and understanding of financial processes/documents.


Reporting to the Office Manager, your key duties will involve:
Provide support to existing Clerical and Administrative staff on a day to day basis
  • Data input
  • Raising invoices
  • Payment of invoices
  • Processing payments
  • Maintenance of various IT/clerical systems
  • General clerical duties

To be considered for this role you must have the following:
  • Previous Administrative/Clerical experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of financial processes/documents
  • Experience working in an office environment
  • Excellent IT skills and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
  • Excellent keyboard skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Ability to produce accurate work and work to deadlines
  • Two National 5 Grade, one of must be English, SVQ Level 2 in Administration or an equivalent qualification
