Pertemps client, a well-known Public Sector organisation based in Livingston is seeking to recruit a Clerical Assistant on a P/T 3 day per week temporary basis.

Purpose of the role:

The Clerical Assistant will provide administrative support in relation to applications for grant funded home adaptations. Previous experience of working in an office and possess excellent all round Microsoft Office Skills.

Your new role/Duties:
  • Possess attention to detail
  • To work well with as part of a small team
  • Ability to work on your own
  • To a quickly become acquainted with the various processes & legislation
  • Possess excellent verbal communication and
  • customer service skills
  • Computer literate and the use software packages (e.g. Microsoft Office) competently
Skills/Experience:
  • Exhibit sensitivity and understanding with engaging with potentially vulnerable individuals
  • Well organised and methodical in your work
  • Ability to prioritise tasks, as requested by teams members
  • Ability to deal with confidential information
