The successful Chemical process Operator will operate, monitor and maintain chemical manufacturing equipment and contribute to the quality, efficiency and safety of the manufacturing plant. Ensuring products are processed in a timely manner and achieving quality and cost goals you will also be required to comply with Health and Safety procedures at all times.
As a Chemical Process Operator, your duties will be:
" Operating a new semi-automatic chemical production plant.
" Offloading and charging raw materials.
" Confidently able to Operate a Forklift truck.
" Able to work well within a team as well as independently.
" Ability to liaise with drivers, customer service and management.
" Helping out in various areas across the site including some manual handling stacking products.
" Able to identify and resolve any issues.
An ideal Chemical Process Operator will hold the following skills and experiences:
" Good standard of GCSE English, Maths and Science.
" NVQ Level 2 in manufacturing or equivalent, not essential.
" Previous experience of working in a chemical processing environment.
" Good knowledge of hazardous chemicals.
" Awareness of working within ISO 9001, 14001 & 18001 systems.
" Ability to deliver results in a high pressure environment.
" A good understanding of critical processing steps and operating procedures.
" FLT Licence
