Sous Chef - Independent Gastro Pub

High Wycombe - HP12

£24k plus Tips, free live in

2nd chef needed for a beautiful gastro pub in the High Wycombe area

This gastro pub is independently owned meaning you'll have a real close bond with the owners. They actually were the top rated pub on TripAdvisor despite their small size, they do offer a family themed, intimidate experience which has gained them a fantastic reputation. You'll work with a small team of 2 chefs and a KP, catering for up to 100 covers. They try to be flexible and give you good working hours too.

Key information on the Sous Chef Job:

  • Permanent contract
  • 45 hours per week roughly
  • Tronc on top of salary
  • Help create menus and work with local suppliers
  • 2 days off - Mondays and Tuesday guaranteed with flexibility to take other days off

Key Responsibilities for the Chef will include:

  • Work with a fantastic team

  • Having a passion or cooking healthy meals
  • To maintain all hygiene and safety standards with particular emphasis on health and hygiene.

Key Requirements for the Chef:

  • You must worked in the kitchen and have the ability to work under pressure
  • Keen attention to detail
  • A friendly person with good communication
