Chef de Partie/Sous Chef - Social Club - Aldermaston - £21,000-£24,000

Are you a strong Chef de Partie or Sous Chef who is looking for a new challenge and a better work/life balance?

I am looking for a Sous Chef to join the team at a fresh Social Club Kitchen in Aldermaston. The role offers a great work/life balance working a minimum of 35 hours per week on an hourly rate of up to £12 per hour.

There is a choice to do split shifts 10.00-14.30 and 16.45-21.00 or a straight shift 11.30-21.00. You would be required to work two Saturdays per month and one Sunday per month.

The Role….

  • Lead the kitchen team in chef's absence
  • Prepping fresh food menu items and service delivery
  • Supporting with training and development of more junior chefs

The Ideal Candidate would possess the following….

  • Experience of working within a fresh food kitchen at Chef de Partie level upwards
  • A "can do" attitude
  • Experience in managing a kitchen in the Head Chef's absence would be ideal but not essential
