Chef de Partie – Contract Catering (School)

East Surrey (Caterham)

MUST DRIVE!!!!!!!!

£11.56 per hour based on 40 hours/50weeks per year

We are currently looking for an experienced Chef de Partie to work at a well-known education site for an outside contract catering company.

You’ll be catering for 700 students in this boarding environment, including lunches and suppers. The food is all fresh (other than the frozen peas), so you’ll be expected to work to their high standards.

You’ll also work 50 weeks of the year, with Christmas off as well as holiday time, 40 hours per week. You may have to work alternate weekends due to it being a boarding school. The hourly rate starts at £11.56 (£23 - £24k).


The Requirements of the Chef:
  • Experience within a similar level (chef de partie)
  • Qualified to NVQ Level 1, 2 and 3 or Equivalent   (desirable) or a good fresh food background in hotels, pubs, bars, restaurants and contract catering.
  • Passionate about food
  • Enthusiastic attitude and willingness to take operation to the next level
