Due to growth we are now looking to recruit a Centre Manager/ Lead Internal Verifier in North London.
This is a centre based position.
This training provider delivers a wide range of Qualifications within the Health and Social Care Sector which include Diplomas and Apprenticeships.
This is a dual role which will involve acting as the Lead Internal Verifier (IQA) and also acting a Centre Manager.
As a Centre Manager you can expect to receive a salary of between £32000-£50000.
You will also receive a generous holiday allowance, laptop, mobile and business mileage paid at 45 pence per mile.
This is a newly created position and there is an immediate start available for the right person.
As a Lead IQA and Centre Manager you will be responsible for the quality assurance sampling of qualifications. You will support a team of Health and Social Care Regional Trainer/Assessors to understand and apply the standards and assessment requirements.
As a Lead Internal Verifier and Centre Manager in Health and Social Care you will also carry out teaching observations and provide feedback accordingly
Typical duties of the Lead Internal Quality Assurance Officer/Centre Manager- Health and Social Care.
" Work with the senior management team to drive quality of teaching and learning across the apprenticeship team through the observation and sampling Strategies.
" Manage and monitor the training and support to the training team, towards meeting company and governing body standards and timescales
" Provide continuous support and guidance to the Trainers with all matters regarding training and assessment
" Undertake observations of IQA activity of key learner processes, including teaching, learning & assessment, to support continuous improvement and be involved in the moderation process to ensure a standardised approach is adopted across the team.
" Hold regular team meetings, moderation meetings
" Undertake audits of the Internal Verification system and procedures to ensure compliance with all policies and procedures
" Liaise with the awarding bodies to ensure documentation and records are maintained to the highest standards and complete on time
" Provide support in preparing for visits, assessments and inspections from external stakeholders such as Ofsted and SFA as well as support with Awarding Body Visits and deal with any action points from External Verification visits
" Work closely with Senior Managers on quality matters- identify and prioritise areas for interventions and maintain a good, supportive and constructive relationship with colleagues.
" Attend internal and external meetings and events consistent with the role of the Lead IQA
Skills and Experience required for the Centre Manager/Lead IQA- Health and Social Care
" Related experience working as a Centre Manager/Lead Internal Verifier(IQA)
" Up to knowledge of Health and Social Care Qualifications, Diplomas and Apprenticeships
" Internal Quality Assurance Qualification, e.g. TAQA, V1, D32, D33, D34
" Assessor Qualified with recognised Teaching Qualification, PTLLS, Award in Education
" Level 3 in Health and Social Qualification
" Knowledge and experience dealing awarding bodies and Ofsted Inspection
" Own transport and flexible to travel.
This position at times require national travel, so flexibility for occasional overnight stays is required.
