Chef - £23,000 - Woolacombe - Free Live In
Our client is a fabulous mainly seafood restaurant in the beautiful setting of Woolacombe. They are looking to recruit a chef de partie to help run and to be a hands on member of the brigade. Open for breakfast lunch and dinner this highly popular restaurant is a hit with both tourist and local foot fall that are in the area. All produce is cooked fresh and is of high quality. During peak seasons the site is extremely busy. The position does provide free accommodation for the right candidate and is located above the premises. Working patterns will be dependent on the business.
Main Duties and Responsibilities as a Chef de Partie
To prepare and present food to meet the required standard
To ensure your section is run efficiently and effectively
To ensure the work area is kept clean and tidy
Learn and develop under senior chefs
What You Need To Be a Successful Chef de Partie
Qualified to NVQ Level 2 or equivalent or relevant kitchen experience
Previous experience in contract catering/fresh food environments
Willingness to learn and progress
Great communication skills and ability to work well within a team
Free Accommodation above the restaurant for successful candidate if needed
