About the role

We have opportunities for Advocates to join n-compass across Lancashire, Bury, Cumbria, Liverpool, St Helens and Wirral, on a casual basis with flexible hours to suit your circumstances. 

This role is to provide independent one to one statutory and non-statutory advocacy in local communities, in accordance with the legislative requirements.

About you

We are seeking resilient, hardworking, empathetic and passionate people to ensure that those who need our Advocacy Service are supported professionally.

We are looking for someone with experience of; Working with a caseload of clients, within set case parameters and keeping up to date records; setting and maintaining appropriate boundaries with clients, families/carers, and professionals; working with people with disabilities, mental health issues and/or who have limited/no verbal communication

Most importantly, we are looking for people who really want to make a difference.

Successful applicants will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check (formally CRB)
