This System Support Engineer position is a 2 year Fixed Term Contract role responsible for co-ordinating the maintenance and system administration for all Design and Production Engineering software licences.
As Software Support Engineer, you will be responsible for the co-ordination of all non-corporate Engineering (CAD and Manufacture) software used within the Design and Production facilities.
You will provide technical support to tickets raised through IT service desk for all CAD and Engineering software and hardware issues.
The Software Support Engineer will act as single point of contact liaising between IT, Design and Production team and suppliers.
You will help manage CAD and Engineering software upgrades and implementation, advising on packaging requirements.
As Software Support Engineer, you will be responsible for Service Desk Ticket Management.
You must have working knowledge of Design and Production software (CAD, CAM, 3D scanning and 3D printing).
You need good working knowledge of supporting Solidworks CAD software and related infrastructure, preferably Solidworks certified professional.
