Salary £9.62 - £11.54 per hour Sector Professional & Admin
We have a brilliant opportunity for a Buyer to join an established Manufacturing organisation based in Aldridge area. This positions will be required to assist on a fix term contract and is able to offer immediate start for the right person

As a Buyer your responsibilities will be to:
• Co-ordinate site purchasing actives to drive the business in day to day running's
• Work closely with the supply chain team to ensure that customers' orders are attended to and relevant stocks have been requested
• Upload all sales and purchase orders and maintain an up-to-date system
• Report on materials and supply chain management issues
• Maintain own key supplier metrics and service levels to improve customer satisfaction
• Maintain relationships with key clients to ensure orders are reaching site on time
• Maintain MRP data such as PIR, source lists, forecasts in line with site requirements
• Work alongside the Purchasing manager, carrying out various administration tasks including creating Sales orders and quotes
• Deal effectively with customer's returns and complaints
• Present the company in an accurate and positive manner on the phone

For the Buyer you will need to have:
• Knowledge with SAP or MRP systems
• Excellent communication skills
• Previous experience in manufacturing would be desirable
• The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
• Excellent eye for detail
• Experience of working in an office environment
• The ability to handle multiple tasks at one time

Salary: £20,000 - £25,000 per annum

Duration: 9-12 months
