Job description

Overall purpose
You will provide efficient, effective and flexible support to the regional team. The role will lead on day to day running of the region's quality assurance processes, drafting correspondence on behalf of the Regional Director and engaging the inspector workforce as required.

Key accountabilities
 Develop and maintain effective workflow management and monitoring of serious incidents, waiver requests, correspondence, quality assurance, complaints and other regional work, ensuring work systems, logs and databases, which support effective provision of management information, are maintained.

 Undertake a range of regional support activities across all remits including, but not limited to, the organisation of the regional duty desk, supporting tracking and Quality Assurance processes and providing IT support to inspectors.

 Drafting and coordinating all outgoing communications and maintaining regional online communications channels, as required.

 Support Regional Business Manager as required in the management of inspector data, the provision, analysis and presentation of regional management information, and liaising with the inspection planning team.

 Assist with resolving queries promptly and appropriately, liaising with other teams when necessary, or escalating as required to resolve issues and queries.

 Carry out specific projects for the team of Senior HMI and Regional Management Team, ensuring that projects and tasks are delivered to agreed timescales and standards.

 Support the Regional Director, Senior HMI, HMI and contribute to the wider work of the Regional Support Team, as required including the organisation and support of regional conferences, seminars and regional improvement events.

Additional requirements of the role

May require occasional evening or weekend working. This role may require travel and overnight stays dependent on business needs.
