A fantastic opportunity within Harrow Council for an enthusiastic and committed individual to join us as a Business Development Officer

We are seeking self-driven and motivated individual to join us as a Business Development Officer to work on a part time or full time contract. In return we pay a competitive rate of £12.11 per hour dependent on experience
other benefits include excellent training and support for career development and 21 days holiday (excluding Bank Holidays).

The successful candidate will facilitate the delivery and development of the Weddings & Functions hire business in the Great Barn at Headstone Manor. They will also be the main point of contact for customers of the Great Barn and will work with colleagues on the development of other forms of income generation, In particular through catering, retail and tourism.

To be successful in the role, you will need to have the following skills and experience:

Venue hire sales
Events management
H&S legislation for venue hire
Hospitality/leisure industry best practice
Venue hire/hospitality marketing
Customer facing sales
Events management
Supervision of casual staff
H&S in event delivery
Excellent customer service
