Job Description

Business Development Manager UK & Ireland

Our client is looking for someone to develop sales strategies and attract new clients in the UK & Ireland.

You will play a key role in increasing income and revenue by managing and negotiating with clients, distribution partners, generating leads, qualifying prospects and managing sales of the new products and services in UK & Ireland.

For travel reasons you will ideally located in a central location or close to major transport links.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Generate sales revenues by performing face-to-face and online product demonstrations to potential customers
• Collaborate with Sales Management, Inside Sales Managers, Marketing and others to support opportunities
• Identify additional sales opportunities and new vertical markets while being fully aware of new products and competition status
• Work as part of the sales team to develop new sales strategies & models to generate sales opportunities
• Screen potential business deals by analysing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials
• Identify gaps in our customers and translate them into new product solutions
• Act as point of contact and provide technical support to potential customers and channel partners during the evaluation period
• Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by understanding their needs
• Strengthen existing business relationships with channel partners
• Review channel partner performance and establish yearly business plans with partners
• Establishment of additional channel partners for new key vertical markets
• Report and provide feedback to management using financial statistical data

REQUIREMENTS

• 3+ yrs. demonstrated successful record of selling capital equipment
• Demonstrated ability to identify technical problems, formulates, and demonstrates solutions
• Must be able to communicate and articulate technical solutions to all levels of an organisation
• Strong interpersonal, presentation and closing skills
• Willingness to travel within the region
• Knowledge of CAD is strongly preferred
• Experience in selling capital surveying equipment (e.g. 3D Laser Scanner, Photogrammetry solution)
• Experience in any of the following markets is a plus: Building Construction, Public safety, Facility Management or Real estate
• Experience applying software solutions such as Autodesk or Nemetschek Group products (AutoCAD, Revit, ReCap Pro, Allplan, Vectorworks)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
