Business Development Manager

We are recruiting for a Business Development Manager to work with my experienced and well established client with in the Training and Development Sector.  As a Business Development Manager you will be developing long term relationships in order to sell Management Training Programmes, Apprenticeships or Learning and Development Solutions.

As a Business Development Manager you will need to have:
Proven track record of selling Leadership and Management Programmes which include Apprenticeships and commercial Training Programmes.
Up to date knowledge of how apprenticeships and funding works for Levy and Non Levy Clients.
Demonstrates a proven track record in new business development and territory sales management.
Extensive experience in Account Management and developing new clients.
Demonstrates evidence of exceeding sales targets through cold calling, lead generation.
Up to date knowledge of Social media platforms.
Experience of preparing and presenting to Senior Management
Full UK Driving license with own car as this is a homes based role.

Salary: £25,000.00 - £50,000.00 per annum depending on experience
Working Hours: Monday to Friday (Home Based)
Location: Birmingham – to south of UK
Duration: Permanent

Key responsibilities of a Business Development Manager:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients to generate new business opportunities.
Generate and attending own appointments to discuss how the Apprenticeship Levy works, carrying out Training Needs Analysis and explaining the benefits of management Apprenticeships and their range of commercial Training Programmes.
Sell additional Training programmes and Learning and Development solutions to external clients.
Work towards sales targets in the form of apprenticeship starts and commercial revenue.
Attend networking seminars and breakfast meetings to generate new business.
Grow and develop Key Account.
Support with Bids and Proposals, take the lead on presentations and seminar delivery.
