Business Development Executive
£35,000 plus excellent benefit package

Excellent opportunity for Business Development/Sales individual with previous Sales/Marketing/Business Development experience preferably gained in a Professional Services/Financial Services

Overall job purpose
To communicate in an articulate manner with sources of new business, attending meetings of creditors, liaising with creditors, contacts and referrers with a view to securing insolvency work for the Firm and increasing market share
Support Partners, the Creditor Assist and Dividend Watch team and presenting the best possible image of the firm to all visiting clients.
Contribute and develop personal strengths to continually improve BTCS and the company brand.
To achieve individual and departmental targets for personal insolvency (8-10 cases per month) and Corporate cases secured
Communicate, mainly by telephone, with financial organisations/trade bodies/individuals and High Courts in order to obtain creditor support.
Obtain support from existing and new contacts (B2B & B2C) in securing new work. Communicate with Official Receiver offices to gain business for the insolvency practice.
Attend creditors meetings whenever required and to gain proxy support from creditors of bankrupts.
General administration, writing reports, making up files, maintaining records, and using IT relevant to the role
Assist in the expansion of client base through telecommunication and meetings where appropriate.
Making 25-30 telephone calls per day to work towards monthly individual and team targets
Working with the Dividend Watch team to ensure all client claims represented are transferred across for reporting.

Requirements for the role
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience in a marketing / business development / sales environment essential.
Previous experience in professional services or corporate environment preferred.

Educated to A-Level or equivalent standard
