Job Description

Business Development Consultant required in SALISBURY (SP1).
  • Part-Time
  • Permanent
  • Monday-Friday, 25-30 hours per week, times can be discussed
  • £9.50-£11.00 per hour depending on skills and experience + monthly performance bonus

The Job
As a Business Development Consultant you will thrive in a fast paced working environment whereby delivering exceptional customer service is the norm. Confident on the telephone with a natural inquisitive and perceptive nature you will enjoy building relationships with potential new clients.
  • Contact new and lapsed clients, (all B2B) to market a range of recruitment services
  • Make appointments and attend client visits
  • Organise and run marketing campaigns
  • Devise and forward introductory information
  • Follow up any information that has been issued to clients to obtain feedback
  • Understand market trends to maximise sales
  • Maintain an awareness of competitors
  • Assist the office by answering the phone and queries in the event of staff holiday and sickness

Requirements to become our Business Development Consultant:
  • A full UK manual driving licence
  • Experience of working in recruitment, resourcing, B2B sales, account management, negotiation or business development and achieving targets
  • Able to influence, persuade, negotiate and build rapport at ease
  • Confident, personable and enthusiastic attitude
  • Tenacious and resilient personality with the drive to succeed
  • Excellent IT skills to update and accurately record information on our client database
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated, organised and able to use own initiative to self-manage workload and time efficiently
  • Good memory in order to retain information from previous interactions
