Business Analyst - Insurance - City, London

Our Client, a global insurance company, are looking for a Business Analyst to join their team. Experience working in the Insurance sector is essential and exposure to the full IT project lifecycle: project initiation through to implementation.

Joining this small team the Business Analyst will take ownership for the delivery of a portfolio of changes/projects to an area of the business / I.T service and be a single point of contact for said service (s).

Key Responsibilities:-

* Develop effective relationships with business stakeholders

* Build relationships with 3rd party service providers and internal service delivery staff to ensure the optimum solution is proposed

* Analyse the feasibility and change requests identifying and assessing the various options against cost, timescales, benefits and quality criteria

* Analyse and document user requirements

* Produce systems or procedural design documentation

* Develop test strategies and test plans to ensure solution meets the needs of the business and is aligned with defined requirements

* Develop implementation/release plans back-out and QA steps are clearly defined.

* Perform systems installation procedures where required.

* Manage the handover of delivered systems to IT operations and other IT support staff

Key Skills/Experience required:-

* Previous experience working as a Business Analysis in the Insurance sector is essential

* Exposure to Policy and Claims Admin solutions

* Exposure to the full IT project lifecycle; project initiation through to implementation

* MS SQL Server would be advantageous

This role will be initially working from home due to COVID-19 restrictions. Thereafter it will be working in their offices based in the City of London a couple of days per week, and the remainder of the week, working remotely
