Salary £20000 - £30000 per annum Sector Professional & Admin
I am currently recruiting for a bookkeeper in the Walsall area. The main purpose of this position is to accurately record financial transactions for a range of clients. The ideal candidate will be someone who has worked within an accountancy practise and has extensive knowledge and experience within bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles
Daily Duties:
Maintain day to day books
Deal with bank reconciliations and cash flow forecasting
Process accounts payable / receivable
Manage Invoices and tax payments
Manage HMRC reporting obligations
preparing clients tax returns
carry out payroll
Attributes:
Bookkeeping Experience
Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
Data entry skills and proficient in English and Microsoft packages
Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software
Proficiency in English and in MS Office
Excellent communication skills
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to work as part of a team and or on own initiative
Experience with Sage, Quickbooks an Xero
Proven ability to calculate accounting figures and financial records
Extensive knowledge with Excel
