Job Description

Have you ever dreamed of working in New Zealand?

We're working with a leading NZ brand in the world of Aluminium leisure craft that are seeking a Boatbuilding Fabrication Supervisor to join their growing team.

Renowned across the Southern Hemisphere boatbuilding world, this family owned brand has seen great success and growth and now build between 10 and 15 craft a year, with prices starting around $250,000. They employ a team of around 40 and build entirely in-house, offering an assured quality across all areas of the boat which leads to both repeat custom and great industry reputation.

Leading a team of boatbuilders to fabricate the hulls and components, this role is a key position within the organisations, as it will dictate the quality standards of craft as the brand progresses. You will be able to further your career in Aluminium fabrication, giving you the chance to have your work admired internationally.

As an individual you will be experienced in the build of aluminium craft to a high standard, working with vessels of up to 18m. You will be meticulous, with a great standard of detail both in terms of integrity and vanity. Alongside your technical skills however, an ability to lead and inspire others is of huge importance. Whilst a hands on role, the ability to manage and delegate will also be hugely important.

On offer is a great working environment in a stunning location for a family business. A salary of NZ$80,000 will be paid
