The Role

Vision for Education is seeking a Behaviour Teacher to support pupil education in Pupil Referral Units and Alternative Provisions. Teaching in supportive and friendly PRU and Alternative Provision settings, with children aged 5 to 16 requiring this setting to support educational engagement because they suffer with Attention Deficit, Hyperactivity Disorder, Social Emotional and Mental Health challenges.

The school

The specialist units are challenging environments, supporting children with communication and interaction problems, learning difficulties, social or emotional issues is however a very rewarding role. These specialised settings offer brilliant facilities and resources as well as staff who drive engagement and achieve results. Most units have excellent public transport links, but access to a vehicle would be advantageous.


To be considered for the Behaviour Teacher KS3&4 role you must:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Newly Qualified Teaching Status (NQT)

Hold a driving licence, which would be preferred, but not essential.
A DBS Certificate is an advantage but not essential, this can be arranged.
Confident de-escalating challenging situations. Training would be an advantage but not essential.
