Bar and Lounge Manager - Hotel in the New Forest - £20,000 - £24,000

The role:

A Bar and Lounge Manager is required for this prestigious hotel in the New Forest. You will ensure the bar is run efficiently and that a high level of table service is provided to guests at all times in each of the hotel's lounges. You will report directly into the F&B Manager. You will work a 48 hour week, 5/7 days to include evenings and weekends.

The hotel is of a very high calibre, so previous four star hotel experience is essential. Please also note that your own transport is also essential in order to travel to the hotel.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Welcome and seat guests in a professional manner
  • Set up the bar and keep it stocked and in order
  • Assist with developing the menus
  • Run shifts, serve customers and be customer focused at all times
  • Supervise and train staff to deliver the correct standards
  • Deal with customer queries and complaints

What you need to get the job:

  • Previous managerial/supervisory experience in a similar role in four or five star hotels
  • Excellent food service experience
  • Excellent knowledge of cocktails and other beverages
  • Passion for delivering exceptional customer service
  • Desire to learn and progress
  • A dedicated and passionate team player
