This is an exciting time to join Bromford. We’ve been named as a top 3 best place to work in the UK by Glassdoor and we’ve announced exciting plans to partner with South West-based Merlin Housing, meaning even more new homes, opportunities and relationships.
We’re always on the look-out for top talent; we’ve set aside a joint investment of £1.5b for 14,000 new homes over the next decade and now we’re looking for a Bank Worker to join our team.
Are you great with people and keen to make a difference for customers in Telford?
We are currently looking for Bank Workers to assist our team of Support Workers in Telford at our Young Persons scheme for those at risk of homelessness. The roles will involve shift work to cover our day and night shifts at our 24-hour scheme at The Willows:
These roles would be ideally suited to someone who has some spare time in their week to cover available shifts, sometimes at short notice. The purpose of this role is to provide ad-hoc housing related support to vulnerable people who live on the schemes. You will work with our Support Workers to provide a detailed handover of any information from each other's shifts as well as maintaining the security of our building, delivering group work sessions and developing positive relationships with our customers.
Previous experience is desired, but we are equally interested in your positive attitude, integrity, initiative and an approach to delivering excellent customer service.
Due to the nature of the role the successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service check.
Our colleagues tell us they really value the benefits we offer, see the full list here.

Bromford is committed to recruiting with care and safeguarding employees and customers, as a result we will carry out pre-employment checks. The nature of these checks will vary according to the role applied for, and may include details of current/previous employment, unspent criminal convictions, education and proof of relevant qualifications. Bromford will also be asking for references for everyone who is offered employment with us. All employees will be asked for evidence of their right to live and work in the UK - further information is available on the UK Government website.
