Automotive Project manager - Pressings
Location: West Midlands; commutable from Birmingham, Redditch, Worcester, Stratford and Evesham
Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum, negotiable based upon experience.
o You will be responsible for the introduction of new products from customer order to production including; feasibility studies, master schedules, gateway reviews, progress meetings, costs tracking and management of the project within APQP procedures.
o Overseas travel will be required for short periods of time
o Liaise with tooling/gauge/machine suppliers to ensure delivery of machinery/tooling in time and in line with specification
o You will already be an accomplished Project Manager or Programme Manager seeking a larger organisation whereby you can be responsible for significant programmes working directly with leading OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers.
o Qualification in a relevant Engineering discipline
o previous experience and an understanding of PMFEA, APQP, 8D and PPAP Requirements.
o Previous experience of pressings/ pressed metal component preferred
o Excellent organizational and people management skills combined with communication and influencing skills
o Proficient in Microsoft Office and drawing office packages
