Automation M&E Technician - Glasgow

Medium sized industrial automation business with a UK-wide operation with historic partnerships with large MNE’s and government bodies.

Bullet points –

We have partnered with a high growth heavy engineering project-based industrial automation firm who are expanding into Scotland due to a large long-term contract win.
They are looking to further strengthen their new team in Scotland by adding a number of Mechanical & Electrical Technicians.

Typically, their projects include heavy mechanical handling, bridges, water control gates & barriers, ports, docks, marinas, hoist, winches, haulage, transport systems, mining, plate forming etc.

This is a long established and forward-thinking business who have seen consistent growth in the last decade even throughout the Covid-19 pandemic. This continuous growth means that there is plenty of scope and opportunity for ambitious engineers to progress.

They boast an industry leading budget dedicated to improving staff professionally and personally. This includes training and development, including paid IET membership and supporting engineers through to chartership with bespoke programmes tailored to each individual.

We’re looking to speak to individuals with:

Electrical fault finding experience 
18th edition (you may have this qualification) Mechanical awareness:

Troubleshooting PLC software (fault finding) experience and calibration is very advantageous but not necessary and this is an area where we can develop your skills and expertise.
