Showman Event Support is a busy event management & production company based in Gaydon, Warwick looking to recruit a Senior Audio Visual Technician to join our team.

To prepare, load and set-up a range of Audio Visual, sound, staging, video and lighting equipment and where required to operate this equipment during the event ensuring all services are delivered to our clients in a professional and efficient manner.
Working with the team to deliver and collect equipment from various venue, sites and suppliers.
Overseeing the checking, cleaning, maintenance and safe storage of equipment – reporting faults where necessary and assisting in putting them right.
As you will know the industry does involve arriving and setting up before events and packing down afterwards therefore long and unsociable hours are part and parcel. We find that those with a passion for the industry will enjoy this part of the job too!
Technical aptitude and a good understanding of stage, lighting, sound and projection equipment are essential. Applicants that are also PC literate with a good working understanding of PowerPoint, Window and Mac operating systems and video software packages is beneficial.
Applicants are required to be presentable, polite and well groomed with good communication skills as you will be operating in a corporate environment / locations.
You must be a team player but also self-motivated when working on your own. The ability to work calmly under pressure and fault find when necessary is a must.
You will be required to liaise with the Technical Partner of the company in order to manage the warehouse equipment stock and assist the trainee AV technicians in their day to day workloads and training.
A full UK driving licence will be required and due to the rural location, you will need your own transport.
