You'll join our Technical Services team. Tech Services are the medium by which we make sense of our Digital activities, and you'll work on our critical Service Catalogue.

Our Service Catalogue will provide a Business and Technical Service Catalogue that is a 'single source of truth' reference platform. It will provision 24x7x365 centralised access to service attributes and Technical Service support documentation.

The outcomes for a successful Service Catalogue are that the information required to do our jobs well is available, in tool, at the time needed. There is less reliance on individual knowledge. It promotes faster, higher quality decision making. It provides a "game changing" platform to automate service management activities.

As our Associate Service Transition Manager you will control the lifecycle of all changes to the Service Catalogue. You'll enable beneficial changes to be made with minimum disruption to services.

You will protect the live environment and deliver accurate service data to DWP stakeholders. You will ensure the Service Catalogue is accurate and reflects the current agreed data attributes, status, interfaces and dependencies.

As new, changed, retired or decommissioned services are transitioned you will ensure the Service Catalogue is maintained. You will become our Service Catalogue expert and go-to. You'll support and advise projects and programmes on Service Catalogue processes so that they can deliver DWP objectives and meet the needs of our users.

You will also ensure the ongoing development, accuracy and integrity of the Service Catalogue by contributing to regular audits, testing and data reviews.

Your skills and experience

Stakeholder Management experience.
Understanding of a Service Management Framework and knowledge of lifecycle.
Experience of Service Management in a large, complex organisation.
Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and associated software tools. Where You'll Work
