Rail Translink

The Assistant Project Manager role is based within our Translink business area.

The role

The difference our new Assistant Project Manager will make


As an Assistant Project Manager, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You will be supporting the project manager with the delivery of the signalling and telecommunications framework in NI.

Day to day, you will be responsible for assisting in successfully managing to complete a project or group of projects within agreed budget, programme, quality and safety parameters. You will also contribute to tendering and development of track led projects and provide engineering support to delivery teams.

We offer flexible working to give people more options to better integrate their work and personal life, whilst ensuring that business needs are met. This role is based on site at Belfast for 3 days per week and 2 days working from home. This can change subject to project demands.

Essential experience:
Proven experience in project management of multidisciplinary rail projects
Technical knowledge which will allow the management and co-ordination of several engineering disciplines simultaneously.
Extensive experience in Project / Engineering Management position is desirable
Knowledge of Track Renewal processes and associated safety matters is desirable
Qualification in Engineering Discipline is desirable
