The role of an Assistant Manager  

A brilliant opportunity for an Assistant Manager for a Popular Award Winning Village Pub near Guildford. The Pub is part of an award winning, expanding group of Gastro Pubs based in the South-East.

The ideal candidate will fun loving, have bags of energy and able to deliver outstanding customer service at all times.

This is a fantastic opportunity for existing Assistant Managers or experienced Supervisors looking to develop and progress their careers in the Gastro Pub sector!!!

Your main responsibilities as an Assistant Manager will include: 

  • Assist and deputise for the General Manager in the running of the pub

  • Run shifts and be customer focused at all times

  • Supervise and train staff to deliver the correct standards

  • Deal with customer queries and complaints


What you need to get the job as an Assistant Manager:

  • Experience at supervisory or assistant managerial level ideally in pubs or restaurant environments, with a big focus on Food and Beverage.

  • Have a real passion for the Food & Drink with sound knowledge of current trends
  • Fun, bubbly with drive and enthusiasm

  • A dedicated and passionate team player

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Enthusiastic attitude and willingness to learn and progress
