Rail Translink

The Assistant Installer role is based within our Translink business area.

The role

The difference our new Assistant Installer will make

As an Assistant Installer, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You will carry out signal installation duties working alongside the signalling supervisor.

Day to day, you will undertake work as directed, ensuring acceptable productivity and workmanship. You will also ensure that all work complies with current quality and group/line standards.

Experience:
Considerable S&T work experience is essential
Signalling modules SMTH, Mod 5 is desirable
Able to drive or willing to learn is essential
PTS, basic electrical knowledge and ability to use hand and power tools
Good mechanical skills is essential
IRSE Licensed or working towards is desirable
