As an Assistant Accountant, you will be responsible for accounting and transactional processes, delivering great customer service and effective financial control.
Reporting into the Finance Manager, this role will support the transition between sites and implementation and ongoing delivery of effective accounting processes in a timely and accurate way.
Key responsibilities will include:
• Record transactions and post journals
• Analyse and reconcile accounts
• Perform intercompany reconciliations
• Compliance test and controls
• Accruals / prepayments
• Fixed assets
• Bank reconciliations
The ideal candidate will be part qualified studying ACA, CIMA or ACCA and be computer literate with advanced Excel. Experience using Oracle would be beneficial. If you have previously worked in the Manufacturing sector this would be preferred.
In order to be considered for this role you must be able to work away for the first 8 weeks. All expenses will be paid for but this is an essential factor of the role and you must have your own vehicle.
