This is an exciting opportunity for an organised individual to become part of our established third party recovery team meeting key targets for cost recovery. The successful individual will be responsible for administering damage claims from first notification all the way through to ensuring that the payment is made in a timely manner.
The role will involve collating all available information in the form of statements, photographic evidence, timesheets, payment applications and any other evidence required to support the claim. The individual will be the main point of contact for both internal stakeholders and external loss adjusters. The success of this role will impact on multiple cost centres/business functions.
This role will involve:
- Recovery of monies expended on repairing damage to Thames Water’s assets.
- Building relationships with key stakeholders across the business and external third parties.
- Investigating the history of the incident and costs incurred to produce a robust case.
- Producing and issuing claims.
- Producing and issuing legal letters using agreed templates.
- Promptly responding to queries from third parties, insurers and loss adjusters
- Liaising with our legal team to progress cases when required.
We are looking for someone with strong administration and excel skills.
You will have great attention to detail and have the tenacity to see the case through to a successful outcome.
You will be well organised, able to prioritise numerous tasks and ideally have a background in claims management and/or experience with litigation.
This role will require great communication skills both written and verbal.
Prior technical knowledge of the Thames Water network would be advantageous but not essential as training will be given.
What’s in it for you:

You will own the end to end process of claims recovery which gives this role a wide scope as well as an opportunity to engage with operations technical teams, commercial recover teams and legal department.
