The Asset Optimisation Engineer role is based at HMNB Clyde.
As the Ministry of Defence's commercial partner at HMNB Clyde, Babcock provides specialist engineering support services, including the management of infrastructure and nuclear facilities. We also deliver operational maintenance, upgrades and repairs to support Royal Navy vessels, including the Vanguard and Astute-Class nuclear submarines.
The role
As an Asset Optimisation Engineer you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of the mechanical and / or electrical asset register of HNB Clyde.
Day to day, you'll analyse reports as generated through asset data analysts and identify underlying causes. You will work with the technical authors and design safety justification teams to adjust maintenance activities to reduce defects or the effects of defects.

Experience required
Knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical systems
Knowledge of ISO55000 an advantage but not essential
