New Year, New Career? We are looking for an Area Manager to join the team in beautiful Bournemouth.
As our Resources and Production Area Manager, you will provide operational management of water resources, water treatment works and sludge treatment and recycling assets. You will ensure workforce development and competence is maintained.
The Resources and Production Area Manager will also ensure ODI Performance targets are achieved by supplying our customers with a high quality product in a sustainable manner that meets both internal and external customer service standards. Duties include:
Manage area resources and Treatment Team to optimise asset performance
Ensure best practice is employed and shared through alliance with other managers and technical experts across the company.
Ensure work packages are delivered on time and budget.
Ensure budgets are delivered with investigation and recommendations where adverse
variances or efficiency opportunities are identified.
Ensure that the Quality Management System is effectively maintained for the Drinking Water Services function.
The Ideal Resources and Production Area Manager:
Degree / HND in a relevant subject with experience in the Water Training Industry
Proven experience in a relevant role from an operating industry (e.g. Food, Beverage, Pharmaceutical or Chemical Manufacturing)
Proven ability of managing a team
Proven ability in planning and managing work in deploying resource effectively
Ability to present complicated information in a concise and understandable manner to various audiences
A salary of up to £40,000
