Architectural Technologist, Birmingham, £27k - £34k DOE

Fresh opportunity for an experienced Architectural Technologist has arisen in Birmingham to join a well-established multidisciplinary. The company works across a variety of project sectors, covering Master Planning, Architecture and Building Surveying.

A successful candidate will be given the opportunity to work with a specialists residential team, meet with clients and work across a range of residential projects. The design focused firm have an excellent portfolio of retirements homes, residential and commercial developments. The company is looking for a technologist with housebuilding experience and strong Revit skills.  

The friendly, medium sized practice offers training on software, flexible working hours and other benefits such as a pension scheme and healthcare opportunities.

Responsibilities: Architectural Technologist
  • Responsible for assisting in the preparation of design and construction documents
  • To provide design and technical support
  • Assist project teams and other staff members as required
  • Up to date knowledge of building regulations
  • Meeting with clients to ensure projects are running to plan and timescales
  • Amend and update drawings using Revit and AutoCAD
  • Liaising with members of the design team and Provide Assistance to the design team where appropriate
  • Working towards deadlines, budgets, and resolve any issues that may arise
Requirements: Architectural Technologist
  • Ability to work in a self-led manner and manage own workload is essential
  • Up to date on UK’s building regulations
  • Prior experience within an Architectural Technologist position with relevant qualification
  • Proficiency in Revit is required
  • Examples of work produced within the last 6-12 months is essential
