*Provide inspection and diagnostic fault finding of various analogue electronic products and final unit instruments.
*Assemble, test and inspect various mechanical, analogue & electronic products and final unit instruments, using complex diagnostic tests and methodologies and high level technical build.
*Effective use and maintenance of systems and records to ensure service standards are achieved at all times (ie use of ERP/MRP, Database and IT systems
*Effectively interpret and utilize circuit diagrams, assembly and engineering drawings and specifications.
*Ensure all assembly, test and repair functions are completed to the necessary quality standards.
*Participate and communicate with senior stakeholders on matters requiring technical / product related guidance or decision making.
*Working with key stakeholders at all levels, use and develop technical / business skills and knowledge to support new business and adoptions integrations.
*Regular update and progress reporting to Line Manager and Management.
*Provide cover during operational working shift hours (may include early, swing & night shifts) and working outside working hours as may be required by the business.
*Minimum 3` years recent relevant experience working in a similar role in a manufacturing/engineering environment (aerospace desirable).
*Experienced in working at analogue electronic component level, using detailed engineering drawings and other technical records.
*Able to demonstrate understanding and application of the principles and theory of analogue electronic circuitry and electrical components within the engineering function.
*PC literate - competent in the use of MS Office applications, ERP and other business IT systems. Experience of logging identified problems, root cause analysis and corrective action.
*Able to demonstrate use of a variety of tools or equipment in a safe, responsible and compliant way.
*Can give examples of working in a high performance culture - achieving performance objectives and targets to tight timescales. Can work on multiple products and able to prioritise workload to meet customer requirements.
*Evidence of personal contribution to continuous improvement, lean methodologies and safe working practices.
