We are recruiting an Advanced Production Control and Logistics Manager to join a leading global manufacturer in the automotive industry with a high level of quality and excellent benefits package.
The role of the PC&L material planning manager is pivotal in supporting seamless manufacturing & product delivery. The role requires a tenacious, 'can-do' and strategic approach. The environment whilst challenging, also requires a 'change' mindset to support rapid business growth.

*Align Adv PC&L preparations with Launch project timing for plant projects taking in to account strategic inputs.
*Support Adv PC&L PBU to ensure all PC&L costs are accurately reflected in business cases for customer's quotes.
*Setup, evaluate and validate PC Processes as required for Ready to Ship, Manufacturing Connections, Suppliers Readiness, Material Movement, ERP Parameters & Packaging on time.
*Develop and ensure costs are budgeted and aligned with project requirements.
*Support setting and achievement of the PC A3 vision with continuous improvement process to achieve the PC capability metrics , completion assessments & Operating system audits ( O.S.A's).
*To drive achievement of SPQVC targets.
*Follow the operating systems, policies and procedures defined by the Corporate , divisional & plant & ISO / specific customer expectations.
*Ensure strong internal controls and SOX audit compliance.
*Responsible for ensuring utilization of the EOS with agreed metrics.
*Supporting management reviews.
*Responsible for site capacity analysis and reporting.
*Supports completion of Customer Quality Alert responses
*Supports the monitoring and feedback regarding supplier performance

Qualifications and Skills:
*Degree / HND / HNC (Preferred in a supply chain related discipline).
*Relevant experience in a supply chain/materials planning environment (Automotive / Aerospace background preferred but not essential).
*Ability to develop effective working relationships with customers, suppliers and colleagues at all levels of the business
*Good coaching skills and ability to demonstrate a 'lead by example' attitude.
*Ideally you will have over five years' experience in using an MRP system - preferably be a SAP expert.
*Strong Excel skills and knowledge of problem-solving techniques.
*Experience of BOM management, change management and a good understanding of logistics freight modes.
