Job Description

Engineering Consultants specialising in renewable energy is seeking an Administrator to support the team at their City of London offices.

This is an ongoing temporary positions to start ASAP and will pay £9.61 per hour.

The Administrator will provide general administrative support as a part of the London team in order to ensure an effective and efficient operation. The duties of the Administrator will include:
  • Maintain supplies of stationary and equipment
  • Organise meetings for staff
  • Assist with project administration
  • Draft correspondence, documents, presentations, spreadsheets
  • Make travel arrangements for employees
  • Obtain visas, passports and other travel documents and liaise with consulates, embassies, courier services and travel agencies
  • Assisting with the induction of new staff and the onboarding process
  • Maintain personnel files and update when necessary
  • Keep working spreadsheets up to date
  • Assist with drafting employment contracts.
  • Update company health insurance scheme if any changes and act as point of contact
  • Update and maintain office QHSE documents
  • Prepare for and support quality audits
  • Adhoc finance assistance
  • Manage filing systems
  • Handling of post and booking couriers
  • Record office expenditures
The ideal Administrator will have the following knowledge, skills and experience:
  • Familiar with Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel software as a minimum
  • Good communicator both verbal and written
  • Good time keeper
  • Excellent telephone manner and interpersonal skills
  • Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent
  • Good attention to detail
  • Organized and enthusiastic
  • Efficient and effective with the ability to work under own initiative
  • Team orientated with the ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
