Job description

The successful applicant will already possess basic skills in administration, possibly basic accounts knowledge, and data processing, and be able to acquire the necessary skills to enable prompt and efficient preparation and conclusion of accounts invoicing processes, provide administrative support as necessary within the Accounts Department and any other duties within the range of his or her ability.
Background knowledge of Accounts is not essential, as all tasks and duties can be taught.

Key Tasks

Preparation of paper-based accounts records for input onto computer
Input detailed records onto computer
Use of bespoke software to check, query and prepare customer invoices
Credit Control
Purchase Ledger work
Be responsible for own time management and efficient output of work
Meet deadlines
Prioritise workload
Liaise with other departments
Take direction from senior colleagues and members of the management team
This is not an exhaustive list of the tasks and responsibilities and the post holder may be required to undertake additional duties as necessary.

Hours of work

Full-Time - 37.5 or 42.5 hours per week (half hour per day unpaid lunch break)
Monday to Friday, either 8am - 5pm, or 9am - 5pm, depending on candidates' personal circumstances.


£17,550 - £19,890 pa
