Pertemps are currently working for a leading organisation based in Clydebank who are looking for an Accounts Payable Assistant. You will join their established friendly team who are looking to add the the team on a permanent basis.
Main duties will include;
Support the Accounts Payable Manager with the processing of invoices to ensure that the financial reporting deadlines are met;
Prepare weekly payment runs for suppliers across several currencies;
Assisting with monthly supplier statement reconciliations;
Prepare information for monthly VAT returns and Payment Practices Reporting;
Assist as required in the month end reconciliation of the accounts payable.
Assisting colleagues and suppliers with day to day queries;
Sorting and circulating incoming mail and delivery of outgoing mail;
- Experience of dealing with significant volumes of transactions and following processes efficiently;
- Comfortable working on an integrated accounting package together with a detailed knowledge of core office systems – particularly Excel
