Job Description

With continuous investment in training and development, our client is looking for an Accounts Assistant who is looking to further their career to the next level. Founded in 1995, this is a fast growing company who is unrivalled in their customer service.

We are looking for the best talent; someone with previous Purchase Ledger experience for an 11 month Fixed Term Contract covering Maternity. Your role will play a key part in making sure all processes are smooth to ensure customers return time after time as well as upholding the reputation of excellence to attract new customers every day.

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily reconciliation of 6 bank accounts and month end reconciliation
• Daily posting and allocation of all manufacturer bank debits and credits
• Daily posting of funding debits and credits
• Processing payment requests from sites; settlements, cashbacks and ad hoc payments
• Daily posting and allocation of manufacturer warranty SBI's
• Processing of ad hoc invoices and credit notes
• Daily and weekly credit control of all debts, debtors and creditors
• Month end supplier manufacturer statement reconciliation
• Ad hoc duties as required

Person Specifications:

• High attention to detail
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships
• Ability to resolve queries effectively in a timely manner
• Previous accounts experience
