Accounts Payable Clerk

Pertemps are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established business based in Witton who are looking for an experienced accounts payable clerk.


The ideal candidate:  Will process invoices and make supplier payments for a large business owned by their US parent company.


Details:

£10.26ph

Working hours:  Monday-Friday

Start date: ASAP

Location: Witton

Essential Functions:
  • Processing invoices and expenses in a timely and accurate manner
  • Processing supplier payments
  • Maintaining time & attendance data for the finance department
  • Liaise with all internal departments
  • Points of contact providing assistance for business to resolve queries affecting purchasing
 
Knowledge/Qualification/Education
  • GCSE (grades A-C) or equivalent in Maths and English
 
Experience
  • Previous experience of working in a high volume accounts payable environment
  • Any experience of SAP would be advantageous but not essential
 
Technical Competencies
  • Handle high volumes of work
  • Being able to priories workloads to meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Be able to demonstrate high attention to detail.

  • Ability to work with key people around the business
