We are delighted to be recruiting for our fabulous client who is a specialist retailer supplying niche products all over the UK and Europe.
The high percentage of their business is online via websites but they also deal with business to business customers.
This friendly team now requires an Accounts Assistant to join their finance team as soon as possible and work on day to day accounting. This company would also be happy to support any relevant accounting study up to AAT4 ( so handy for anyone looking to further their accounting career). A car would be essential to get to work.
Bank reconciliations, including card payments, Paypal and Amazon
Purchase ledger – posting invoices and reconciliations
Sales ledger - to process and send customer sales invoices and credit notes
To assist with Credit Control including statements and reminder letters
Allocation of all supplier/non-supplier payments
Credit Card reconciliation
Keying in Purchase Orders with correct information
Ensuring Purchase Orders have correct pricing against order confirmations
General administrative tasks and duties
Filing/record keeping – electronic and paper
High standard of written English and Mathematics
Experience using SAGE
Will possess numeracy skills including high levels of accuracy
Strong IT skills
Ability to be a good communicator with a clear professional telephone manner
Self-motivated and enthusiastic with a flexible attitude to work
Able to demonstrate an excellent work ethic
Will have A* to C grades in Mathematics and English at GCSE
