Job Description

Account Manager required for a company based in Andover (SP11). This is a full-time, permanent job, paying circa £22,000 per annum + Bonuses. Working Monday to Friday 08.30am to 17.00pm . Benefits include: Quarterly personal performance bonus, Monthly team bonus, Yearly rebate, 20 days holiday plus 8 days bank holiday. FREE parking in the immediate vicinity.

Working as an Account Manager in a fun and friendly team you will be an excellent communicator with the ability to build great rapport with potential new and existing clients using a consultative approach. Selling products and services to businesses you will have a confident telephone manner and a desire to understand how products and services can benefit the clients business.

As an Account Manager you will be responsible for the following:
  • Identify and contact new business opportunities
  • Contact and manage existing customers
  • Learn and retain a substantial range of product details
  • Recognise and maximise opportunities to upsell
  • Promote and follow up on deals and promotions
  • Research and understand competitors and the current market
  • Contribute to the Social Media presence
  • Process sales orders and raise purchase orders and consignment notes
  • Record and update data using ACT CRM System and Sage
  • Provide monthly report to Sales Manager

  • Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office packages

  • Identify potential sales, understand the client needs and competitor services in order pitch the correct product and obtain a sale

  • Proactive and organised approach
