Account Manager Role

I am currently recruiting on behalf of a company who provide compressed air, pipework installation and energy saving solutions. They are looking for An Account Manager based in Coventry, They are a successful SME specialising in "Fluid Power Solutions" to predominantly local industry.

This role has been created to help the company grow, to look after existing customers and generate new enquiries to develop the business. This role is predominantly an account manager role to begin with, however the successful candidate will have the required skill set and desire to "hunt" and approach new business and develop into a sales executive.

Typical Duties (but not necessarily all duties):
Calling existing customers and upselling.
Booking appointments & visiting existing customers.
Keeping a record of weekly visits and enquiries.
Using a CRM system.
Quote writing.
Hitting set targets.

Required Skills/Abilities:
The hunger and passion to succeed and thrive in a sales environment.
Must be able to work both alone and as part of a team.
Proven experience as a sales representative or other sales/customer service role is an advantage.
Proven track record of successfully meeting sales quota, preferably over the phone would be beneficial but not a necessity as full training will be given.
Good knowledge of current IT software programs, Microsoft & CRM systems.
Ability to learn about products and services and clearly communicate them to clients.
Excellent command of English, spoken & written.
Superior communication and interpersonal skills.
Cool-tempered and able to handle rejection.
Outstanding negotiation skills with the ability to resolve issues and address complaints.
Full UK Driving License.

Salary negotiable depending on ability & experience, free parking onsite, paid mileage (car allowance)
