Job Summary
The role of a Domains Specialist is being part of a team who is dedicated to providing expert knowledge and assistance to both internal and external customers, this could be via the telephone, email or face to face. 

Primary Responsibilities
- Supporting both internal and external customers via Screen Share
- Develop a full understanding of domain names and keep up to date with changes to policies and management from the government and hosting companies
- Assist with the daily operations of the team, this may include taking on additional tasks as requested by your manager
- Registering new domain names for customers when purchasing a website. You must understand the impact of the domain name registered to SEO and Google ranking.
- Internal reporting of domain names to upgraded sites
- Advise customers on external re-point process
- Manage all the inbound and outbound domain transfers
- Domain Name System (DNS) management, for example web-mail, mail forwarding, Google verification
- Prioritise workload and have the ability to manage a vary of complex jobs
- Work as part of a team and complete all responsibilities
- Work in collaboration with other areas of the business, to ensure effective and trouble free services for the customers.

Critical Skills Required
- Excellent customer service
- Good time management and organisational skills
- Understanding of domain names and their use with websites
- Ability to manage and resolve customer complaints
- Proactively offer advice and provide solutions for complex issue
- Understanding of DNS management 

Eccential Experience and Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years experience working within a customer focused environment 
- Ability to demonstrate excellent time managment and organisational skills
- Complaint handling experience
- Expereince using Microsoft programs, for example Work and Excel
- Ability to manage customer correspondence, both verbal and written

Beneficial Expereince and Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years working knowledge of SEO
- Underestanding of websites, PPC and Google analytics
- Content managment system experience/Social Media buisness knowledge
- Previous expereince using Fatwite and Sitemaker CMS
