A unique opportunity has presented itself with a market leading company. My client is a rapidly growing business with sites around the world including 13 manufacturing facilities in the UK alone. Due to substantial growth within the business, we are looking to recruit an Account Manager with a genuine passion for customer service and delighting clients.
Ideal candidates will be self-motivated with exceptional communication skills and a strong desire to learn and grow within the company. A proven track record in a Customer Service or Account Management role is essential along with the ability to develop effective relationships, problem solve and deal with challenging situations.
- Building and maintaining business relationships with a portfolio of allocated clients.
- Identifying key contacts and decision makers, understanding their needs and maximising opportunities for account development.
- Receiving and processing customer orders.
- Putting together and implementing strategies for account growth.
- Producing management information reports when required.
- Working closely with the accounts team in order to reduce overdue payments.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Customer Service experience within an Account Management role, ideally business to business.
- Able to demonstrate technical competence
- Able to demonstrate problem solving skills
- Awareness of Sales strategy development
- Experience of continuous improvement
- Able to escalate issues in a professional manner
- Able to demonstrate a good working knowledge of Excel
- Maths and English at GCSE level or equivalent
