About the role

Here at Babcock International we're looking to recruit an Access Officer.

You will ensure that Babcock are effective in supporting and delivering a professional secure & efficiently run reception centre(s) for the Devonport site. Duties will include working collaboratively with the customer looking for continuous improvements in all areas.

Administrating an effective site security access system along with personnel security activities ensuring a secure and safe site.

This is a fixed term contract role based at Devonport Camels Head Gate. You will be working in a team administrating all site access, traffic applications and dealing with the Naval Base customers face to face.

There may be times where you work at other reception centre locations on the site as and when required.

Main Purpose of Role:

To provide a professional customer service and gateway to the Devonport site.
To provide an effective and efficient counter service to ensure that Babcock Marine is in compliance with contract requirements.
Working back office processing all of the Naval Base applications for site traffic and access including VIP visits.
To review and identify improvements in processes with a view to continually improve the working environment, bringing in efficiencies and effective outputs that are value for money.
Promote the team ethos in the reception centres.What do I need to do the role?

You'll need previous experience in a Security and/or customer service environment.

What else do I need to know?

The successful candidate must be able to achieve the appropriate security clearance level for this role.
