Job Description

Sous Chef - Education Site - £12,870 - Term-Time Only - Monday to Friday - Southampton Area

Prestigious school in the Southampton area are looking to recruit a Sous Chef to work Monday to Friday and take this unit to the next level with the Head Chef.

You will be working Monday to Friday from 8 am - 2 pm on 30 hrs contract per week. This job is Term-time only.

Evenings and weekends off!!

Due to location car is essential.

Sous Chef Responsibilities:

  • Producing dishes to meet the required standard
  • Assist the head chef and other chefs during their absence
  • Ensuring food safety and health and hygiene
  • Develop and train the other chefs

Sous Chef Requirements:

  • Experience at Sous Chef level within contract catering site
  • Qualified to NVQ Level 1, 2 and 3 or Equivalent
  • Passionate about food
  • Enthusiastic attitude and willingness to take operation to the next level
